Museum-Ed Interpretive Writing Workshop
This interpretive writing workshop is designed for art museum educators with experience writing explanatory texts for adults related to gallery viewing—labels and brochures, for example, and who want to continue to develop their interpretive writing skills. The workshop sessions consists of five 2-hour online sessions on November 9, 11, 13, 18, and 23 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. EST. There is no charge to participate in the workshop, but all participants must agree to complete all aspects of the course in order for their applications to be accepted. In addition, participants must be currently engaged in a museum-related writing project and be prepared to discuss and critique their work in the course of the workshop. Applications can be downloaded here and are due by October 30, 2009.
