Dear Pachyderm User/Developer
We are happy to announce the official launch of the PachyForge Web site (http://www.pachyforge.org). PachyForge is a new, community-owned and operated Web site designed to improve communications and promote growth within the Pachyderm open-source community. The site is intended serve both Pachyderm developers and end-users in sharing ideas and supporting one another.
The PachyForge site offers a wide range of features intended to empower anyone interested in Pachyderm.
These features include:
1) Forums - Support and discussion forums facilitated by experienced PachyForge users and developers
2) Project Registry - A searchable index of published Pachyderm presentations contributed by the user community
3) User Directory - An index of self identified Pachyderm users with information on their interests, affiliation, Pachyderm experience, etc.
4) Latest News - Current articles and announcements on Pachyderm related projects, opportunities and developments
Two recent announcements on PachyForge include:
1) The public release of the specifications for Pachyderm version 2.1.0.

PachyForge is very much in its infancy and as you will see, it has very large shoes to grow into. Your personal participation in PachyForge by posting projects, questions, answers, suggestions and more is what will help set the course. The success and growth of PachyForge as a community-supported resource depends upon contribution and input from users and interested parties at all levels. If you use Pachyderm we encourage you to register and contribute to the PachyForge knowledgebase. Please visit and register today at www.pachyforge.org
We look forward to seeing and working with you on PachyForge and always welcome your comments and feedback.
All best,
Scott Sayre
