We used a dedicated computer for a visitor
survey/exhibition comment area last semester. We have a subscription
to Contacology.com which also manages our e-blast tools. It also
has a system for taking RSVP's to programs.
The surveys are very easy to create
and the Contactology site creates all sorts of colorful and useful charts
and graphs to look at your results.
I imagine that you could also do the
same with survey monkey or similar.
We've got a great IT person on staff
who is able to lock the computer into one website only, so that visitors
cannot use that computer to surf the web. (We have other computers
for that :)
During a 3 month exhibition we got over
200 responses.

| Visitor Survey Kiosk? |
|
Does anyone use computer technology to gather information
about visitor satisfaction?
We are wondering if anyone uses a computer kiosk where visitors can input
suggestions and comments, rather than using paper evaluations. If you are
using this type of system, we would live to know what it is and any detail
you might share with us.
Aloha,
Betsy
