A few more pieces of advice:

 

  1. The best programs for Scouts have the kids “doing”—as opposed to “listening” and “viewing.”  Give them some information and then have them act on it.
  2. Find out when the Girl Scout troops in your area have their cookie sales.  Schedule your most expensive programs for a date after cookie deliveries and booth sales are over, but advertise them much earlier, since the girls have to plan what they are going to use their money for before they start taking cookie orders.
