I’ve used Wix for the last couple of years, and it’s given me a lot of flexibility in the design of the site.  It’s not password-protected, but you can change the search engine optimization settings so that it’s not searchable through Google, Bing, etc.  Setting a password on our website was a barrier to some docents that aren’t technologically savvy or others that simply can’t remember the password, so our current site with Wix has worked pretty well.

We use google sites to collect resources, post calendars, etc. It's only accessible to those that you share the site with.

Best,

Good afternoon everyone,

We are interested in building a website for docent policies, information, and research. Do any of you use a free service/site builder that you would recommend? We would like to have the option for the site to be password-protected.

Many thanks,

Kristi McMillan
