I am sending this on behalf of a colleague in New Hampshire... please don't reply to the list-serv or to me. Please use Rik's email address below for any communications related to this request. (I'm only the messenger ;)
Many people across the country are beginning to make plans for events and programming around the 2023 and 2024 solar eclipses that will be visible in the United States. A colleague in New Hampshire would like to know if anyone has feedback to share regarding programs for the 2017 solar eclipse that were developed in conjunction with and/or facilitated for people with visual impairments. If you have information you would like to pass along to help folks in New Hampshire plan for the upcoming solar eclipses, please email Rik Yeames at
r.yeames@comcast.net. (For example, he is aware of the Braille eclipse path book that was distributed by NASA; if anyone used it successfully in programs, Rik would appreciate knowing the ins and outs of what you may have done.)
Rik is not a member of the Museum Ed list-serv, hence the request to send messages to him directly. Thanks, in advance!
Michelle
