Ready to strengthen your museum collections management skills?

Our Basics to Museum Registration online class starts today, September 14, and there’s still time to join!

Due to a glitch in our enrollment system, some people were unable to register before Friday’s original deadline. We’ve extended enrollment through Wednesday, September 16 so you still have a chance to sign up.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

Get an introduction to the day-to-day work of museum registration and the essential practices and documentation used to care for and manage museum collections.

Throughout the course, you’ll explore topics including accessioning and deaccessioning, incoming and outgoing loans, condition reporting, deeds of gift, collections management policies, and other essential registration documents and procedures.

Whether you’re new to museum work, have recently taken on collections responsibilities, or want to build a stronger foundation in museum registration, this course will give you practical knowledge you can put to work in your collection.

Enrollment closes Wednesday, September 16.
